Head of Projects

Jon is a senior project manager with over 20 years’ experience in oil & gas, renewable energy and large-scale public events. Jon joined Mocean in 2019 to manage its first major project – the design, build and deployment of the prototype Blue X wave energy converter. Jon now leads the Projects team, working across Mocean’s suite of development and commercial projects. Previously, Jon has worked with a wide variety of organisations including Aker Solutions, Talisman Energy, NVA, Arika, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and Community Energy Scotland. Jon has an MSc in Renewable Energy Development from Heriot Watt University and a BEng (Hons) in Electronic Engineering with Management Studies from University College London.
