Andy started his renewables career 15 years ago when he joined Tidal Generation Ltd, discovering an affinity to Marine Operations, and a love for Marine Renewables. Since 2009, he has worked for two tidal device developers, a marine renewables test site and one of the leading marine service providers in marine renewables in Northern Europe – covering all sides of the device testing trifecta. Currently managing the Blue X scale device, Andy lends his in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs of operating in Orkney to the role, and to Mocean as a whole.
