How the system is applied

Use cases
Our system provides local power and communications for remote offshore equipment such as actuators and sensors. Applications include long-lifetime greenfields and CCS developments, as well as retrofit solutions for shut-in and stranded offshore assets. The same capability supports a growing range of Blue Economy applications where reliable offshore power is required.

Case studies
We have demonstrated reliable local offshore power generation and provision through extended time at sea, including deployments with Northwest European Wave Energy Test Centre and Renewables for Subsea Power. Operational insight from these projects continues to inform system development and readiness for commercial deployment.

Pilot projects
An upcoming EuropeWave deployment will validate key system upgrades including power take-off, communications, and survivability. Planned programmes with OceanREADI and OceanPULSE will expand data collection and further extend operational capability toward commercial deployment.
