Research Engineer

With a passion for renewable energies and surfing, Linus joined Mocean Energy in 2024 to work on his EngD project. Embedded in the IDCORE program, his research will focus on the numerical modelling of structural loads on Mocean’s wave energy converter. Linus comes with a master’s degree in physics, a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics, and some work experience at the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy, as well as at a battery storage and software start-up. With his knowledge on renewable energies, physical modelling and python programming, Linus is now part of the Numerical Modelling & Testing team.
